2022 Chevy Corvette Stingray: What's New and Different

The Chevrolet Corvette has been standard in the automotive world. The most advanced and latest model is the 2022 Chevy Corvette which is no different. It comes with an exterior that integrates several new design features, elements, and a technologically more airy cabin compared to all other models in the market today. The car is worth seeking your attention.

What's New in the 2022 Chevy Corvette?

The exterior of the 2022 Chevy Corvette is redesigned with a more aggressive and sharp-cornered look. The front end is updated to include new LED headlights and a large grille applied to the car. The rear end is redesigned, with a sculpted trunk lid and new taillights. All around, the car looks more modern and sporty than the previous models.

The cabin of the Corvette Stingray is wholly modernized. It is equipped with a new infotainment system controlled by a prominent touchscreen display. The car's entertainment features are also upgraded, along with a Bose audio system and an elective performance data recorder that enables you to track the driving stats.

Some other features include a heads-up display and an advanced collision alert system that detects if you are prone to get into an accident.

Trims & Features

The new 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is available in three trims:

Stingray, Grand Sport and Z06.

Stingray features a V-8 engine with a horsepower of 460. It comes with a seven-speed manual transmission, and an eight-speed transmission is also available. The Stingray has been completely redesigned for the 2022 model. It now imposes a longer wheelbase with a new fastback style roofline.

The car has an advanced aerodynamic body, improving handling and stability at high speeds.

Engine & Horsepower

Production of the Chevy Corvette takes place in Kentucky. Providing the muscle is the mid attached and atmospheric gasoline engine of 6.2L V8 LT2 that produces 490 horsepower and 465-pound feet of torque in the standard trim. When equipped with the exhaust factory performance, it gives 495 horsepower and 470-pound feet of torque.

We tested Stingray Coupe 2021 that was equipped with the latter one. However, the 2021 tester did not feature the complete performance package like the current 2022 tester.

The chassis has been tailored to handle better and gratify the new powerful engine. Magnetic Ride Control is also standard.

If you are hitting the open road or wandering around town, the Corvette Stingray is sure to impress you.
